As the manufacturer, we know this product inside and out. Cosco Synthetic Enamel achieves its maximum gloss and hardness when applied at 25-30 degrees Celsius with 50-60% relative humidity. In Kolkata's summer (35-42 degrees C), the solvent evaporates too quickly, causing the paint film to trap solvent bubbles that reduce gloss and adhesion. Our recommendation: add 5-8% of good quality mineral turpentine as a retarder during summer months. Also, for metal surfaces, Cosco Red Oxide Primer MUST be applied first — the enamel bonds chemically with the primer film, and direct application on bare metal will result in premature rusting and peeling.
